Us
With over 40 years of experience, the owner of The Poor Painter, Tabitha Shimer, wants to share her talent and love for painting with people both virtually and in-person in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. The Poor Painter’s Studio is open to Paint n’ Sip, team building, couples classes, private parties, birthday parties, bridal parties, fundraisers, and more. We also offer many different virtual painting tutorials and events for people of all ages.

Tabitha Shimer is a talented, experienced painter that paints for her own enjoyment as well as for teaching purposes. Tabitha wants everyone to learn and share her love of painting, especially in the current times that we are in with more people staying home. Tabitha is offering a variety of free and paid painting classes online and tutorials on how to paint certain requested as well as recommended paintings. She also has hand-painted pillows and other artwork available for purchase online.
